The Family Morningstar Series
Lucifer left Heaven. He wasn’t thrown from the gates as The Father’s sympathizers want you to believe. They tell us The Host turned its back on the rebel prince, but again it’s not true. A full third of The Eternal city followed the First born when he left. In a final stroke of defiance, The Dark Lord gifted his Fallen with the one prize The Father had denied his children, the ability to procreate. After the war The Father vanished, leaving Creation to find its own way. Treaties between The Host and Hell were made as the flow of souls into eternity continued to grow.
The Fallen began to raise families. Their children, called Hellspawns, were born and became some of the most fearsome creatures to walk the nine creations. But no Hellspawn stood above Lucifer’s most prized possession, his feared and hated great grandson Xia Morningstar. As great as Lucifer’s love for Xia was, so in equal measure was his mother’s hatred of her son. What most did not understand is that Xia really only wanted two things, to know who his father was and where they had taken the twin sister he’d never met. As the rift between his mother, the great Mesopotamian deity Lamashtu, and son grew, she devised a plan to do what had never been done before, expel the troublesome spawn from Hell. The Fallen could travel the Creations but no Hellspawn had ever left The Dark Lord’s realm until now. Here begins the story of Xia Morningstar and his human minion Sam as they search for the secrets both Hell and The Host have spent an eternity trying to hide.

The Family Morningstar: Book 2
Lucifer’s gift after the Great War to those who followed him was the ability to procreate, the very thing the war had been fought over. As Hell grew, The Fallen began their new lives and started raising families. The Dark Lord was no different. His Great-Grandchild, Xia Morningstar, one of the most feared and hated creatures in all of Creation was uncontrollable, but then no one tried for he was The Dark Lord’s most prized possession. As great as Lucifer’s love for Xia was, so in equal was his mother’s hatred of her son. In Xia’s eyes, his needs were simple; he wanted to learn who his Father was and the location of the twin sister, taken away at birth. As the years went by and the rift between mother, the Mesopotamian deity Lamashtu, and son grew, she devised a plan to expel her troublesome spawn from Hell. She succeeded and in doing so unleashed upon the nine Creations the most notorious creature in The Father’s realms. Here continues the story of Xia and his human minion Sam as they hunt for the secrets both Hell and The Host do not want them to have.
The Family Morningstar: Book 3

Xia Morningstar finds himself still trapped in Creation, this time on the burned-out husk of a planet with his twin sister, his minion Sam and three traveling companions. What was Lucifer, his great-grandfather up too, and why had he not taken them home to Hell? Determined, they set out to unravel the mysteries of their birth. Why was his newly found twin sister spirited away to spend her youth in Creation? How did their existence fit into the games The Powers, both above and below, were playing?
Xia’s sister had only barely begun the struggle with the revelations of her new identity before being whisked away from the only home she’d known. For years she was just a healer on a small world, and now she is the Great Grandchild of Creation’s most misunderstood Power. Her entire life was little more than smoke and mirrors. Now she was here, with the brat prince of Hell, her brother, as they discovered the old wounds between The Host and Hell had not only never healed but in many ways had grown rot and began to fester. The Great War, which tore Creation apart, wasn’t over but instead awaiting the spark which would again rekindle the battle. Was that them? Were they the fix or just another unwitting weapon in The Dark Lord’s arsenals?
What had become obvious were that steps were being made, pawns moved, and plans drawn. Since her and Xia’s reunion, unexpected allies had begun to show their support in the hopes of either bringing peace or a final destruction to all The Father had created. But Xia was distracted, his sights had changed. He was no longer interested in the games The Powers were playing, the talking monkeys he so loved to watch suffer or any of his old diversions back in Hell. Xia had set his sights set on something new, The Father himself. This elusive “Creator” was the answer, and Xia intended to flush him out, bringing him to judgment and personally administer the punishment he felt was long overdue.
The Family Morningstar: Book 4

Xia Morningstar, the great-grandson of Lucifer, can finally go home to Hell. The question is, do they want him back? The Brat Prince was always a problem, but now he has found his twin sister, been betrayed by a dear friend, and is demanding answers and revenge. The revelation of who the twins’ father is sent chaos through the Morningstar siblings and destroyed the fragile peace between The Fallen and The Host. Both agree it’s time to finish a war that never really ended.
But then was Xia betrayed, or was this all part of a divine plan? For you see, The Father, also known as God, Creation’s missing architect, has returned, and the revelations he brings with him have shaken The Powers to their core. His children, in both The Host and Hell, he sees as little more than petulant children. Then there are the Creations and the living, more failed experiments. In the time since he left, The Father has watched and hoped they would find a way to heal their rifts and come together to repair Creation. Sadly, that has not happened, and he has returned to hold everyone, including himself, accountable for their failures.
